Where is the best place to find a CPR class?
CPR classes are not hard to find. Good CPR classes are. Once you decide you want to learn CPR you need to find a CPR class. Absolute CPR highlights the importance of determining which class you need to take in our blog and throughout our website, guiding you in the right direction to select the best CPR class for you. This decision should be made after consulting with your employers and academic advisors.
Absolute CPR is an American Heart Association (AHA) training site. Our classes use the latest 2025 guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC). These classes are guided by videos produced by the American Heart Association to help facilitate an enjoyable learning experience.
As an American Heart Association training site, we have a slight bias towards the American Heart Association. But other CPR organizations, such as the American Red Cross, likely have the same resources we are about to reference of the American Heart Association.
CPR Class Finders
The American Heart Association Class Finder is a very easy-to-use search option that lets you find CPR classes, First Aid classes, Basic Life Support (BLS) classes, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) classes, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes, as well as other classes the American Heart Association has to offer.
Visit the American Heart Association Class Finder (https://atlas.heart.org/)
On this site you can enter your location, select the class you are looking to take, enter the date ranges you are looking to take it, then select the class you want to attend. You can see a list of classes we have to offer by looking at our Class List, and see when they are being offered by looking at our Class Schedule.
While other CPR organizations, such as the American Red Cross, have websites and promote CPR and their classes, we are not affiliated with this organization and are not aware of their website’s capabilities. This is also true for other CPR organizations out there.
Absolute CPR is an American Heart Association Training Site due to its significant affiliation with the healthcare industry in this area. Nearly all healthcare providers in this area require AHA classes not only for work but for educational programs. Not only does the American Heart Association have a significant relationship with healthcare industry, they also have an extensive history teaching CPR to the public by designing programs for non-healthcare providers, babysitters, nannies, and similar niches.
Timing is everything
Too often we get phone calls from customers saying they need a CPR class now. We suggest they look at our class schedule, and they tell us they already have and are not able to wait till our next CPR class. While we appreciate that they are thinking about our business, it does not always work out. You always have the option to take the Blended / eLearnimg option and schedule a Skills Check.
If you take a class with Absolute CPR you will hear us say not to wait till your eCard is about to expire to take a class. You are not saving any money. Please start looking at CPR class dates 2, 3, 4 months in advance, not just to accommodate your schedule, but to accommodate emergencies, rescheduling, and the like. Plan to prevent any unwanted and avoidable stress.
