General Policies
POLICIES
Effective Date: June 3, 2025
Last Updated: October 1, 2025
The following policies were agreed upon at the time of registering for class.
The following policies include information for multiple classes that are offered at Absolute CPR.
Please note which class you have registered for and any policies specific to your class.
Thanks for considering Absolute CPR for your training needs.
1) * * * * * REGISTRATION / ATTENDENCE / TARDY / POLICY * * * * *
REGISTRATION: It is the sole responsibility of the student to register for and attend the classes necessary for their job and/or school purpose, if applicable. Please review the class descriptions on our website for information about the differences in the classes we offer. If you registered for the wrong class, contact Absolute CPR immediately so we can help expedite the transfer into the right class. You will then be responsible for the difference in the class, including any associated fees with rescheduling.
ATTENDENCE: Being on time cannot be stressed enough. It is the student’s responsibility to arrive early enough to class to park and make their way to our office. Allowing for traffic, weather, and other sorts of delays is strongly encouraged.
BEING TARDY: All classes have a scheduled start time. The nature of the classes we offer is learning/educational based. It is required that students receive the entire instruction. If you are tardy whatsoever past the scheduled start time, you may not be able to partcipate and will need to register for another class. You will then be considered a No Show. Phone calls, emails, and other communications trying to delay the start of class, request the class to wait on your behalf, or explain your circumstances are inappropriate. The registered students who arrived before the start of the class cannot be penalized for the tardiness of an individual(s).
No Show: Students who do not attend class or arrive significantly late will be considered a No Show – someone who does not show up for class. The time frame significantly late is subjective. Therefore, time frames such as “5 minutes” or “15 minutes” cannot describe what significantly late means – they are both considered late and the student will be considered a No Show. Students who take excessive breaks and miss important information throughout the length of the class will also be considered a No Show and their Course Completion Card issuance will be denied and/or delayed.
If you do arrive significantly late, you must NOT interrupt the class that has started. Interrupting a class in session is unacceptable. Interrupting a class in session will weigh greatly on any decision regarding the disposition of your tardiness.
There are no cancellations the day of class.
There is no rescheduling the day of class.
Please review our address and obtain directions prior to the day of your class. Please arrive early enough to find our office, find parking (free, ample parking around our building), and find your way into our building and to our office. Your anticipated cooperation is appreciated by Absolute CPR, the instructor(s), and the other students.
If there is a sign on the door please refer to the directions on sign.
If there is no sign on the door, do not interrupt class, email our office.
Instructors do not have the ability or the authority to make decisions regarding rescheduling, that is up to the administrative staff, which you can reach at info@absolutecpr.com. There is no reason to interrupt class or argue with the instructor, especially in the presence of other students who have arrived on time and are in the middle of class no matter what the circumstances are. Notes on tardy students will be made, and these notes will be used for making any decision about rescheduling related to tardiness. Being on time for class cannot be stressed enough. As our FAQ page suggests, something we encouraged you to read before registration, this is a difficult policy to enforce but we must in order to ensure everyone has an enjoyable learning experience.
Groups of students who plan on arriving together.
Two or more students who plan on attending to class together must be diligent regarding arriving on time. We cannot postpone class for a single student, nor are we able to do it for multiple students running late. This also makes things frustrating for not only the instructor who anticipates a bigger class size, but it compounds the frustration among other students who have arrived on time and now must wait or be interrupted by a group of late students. Therefore, we enforce these policies to make class more enjoyable for everyone.
2) * * * * * RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATION POLICY * * * * *
If you wish to reschedule or cancel, please notify Absolute CPR immediately via email.
Phone calls and voice mails are not acceptable means of notifying us of your intentions. Your intentions to cancel or reschedule MUST be done via email.

Voicemails regarding being late will not be returned and passed on to the administrative staff – typically the next day.
This cannot be stressed enough.

The use of promotional codes is at the discretion of Absolute CPR at all times.
By using a promotional code (Promo Code), you hereby agree to the following conditions:
Absolute CPR assumes no responsibility if you fail to enter a Promo Code at the time of registration. Often, having to look up your registration, verifying your registration, and the act of issuing the difference you are seeking is often less than the administration fee associated with completing these tasks involved in this request. However, Absolute CPR will look into applying the code if requested.
Misuse of any promotional code will result in a delay in the issuance of your Course Completion Card. Issuance will be made when satisfactory payment is complete, an additional transaction/convenience fee of $5 will also be applied per incident. An example of this would include, but not limited to, online Promotional Codes for specific classes on specific days. If you were to use one of these codes for a different day or class and it was accepted you would be subject to these terms.
6) * * * * * FORCE MAJEURE POLICY / EXECUTIVE ORDERS * * * * *
This policy was added due to the events surrounding COVID-19. In the event of Force Majeure or when Executive Orders from local, state, or federal governments are issued, students will be able to reschedule their training into any upcoming training opportunity sixty (60) days after Force Majeure has been mitigated and after Executive Orders are no longer in effect.
Neither Party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations in these events.
Executive Orders include, but are not limited to:
Any official order from local, state, or federal government regarding, not just limited to, events of Force Majeure.
Force Majeure examples include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Natural disasters/emergencies, such as floods, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, or other natural disasters.
- Public health emergencies, including epidemics, pandemics, biological emergencies, or government-mandated quarantines or lockdowns.
- Acts of terrorism, war, riots, or civil unrest.
- Governmental acts or regulations, including mandates or orders that prohibit or restrict in-person training or gatherings.
- Labor strikes, lockouts, or other industrial disturbances impacting the performance of services.
- Widespread utility or telecommunications failures that prevent the delivery of services, including online training.
Absolute CPR will pursue all reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of Executive Orders and Force Majeure within the extent of the law.
Obligations are suspended for the duration of the event. If alternative means become available (such as online training), these considerations will be explored.
