Intended Audience:
For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, critical care/intensive care, and surgery such as Physicians, Nurses, and Paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for a job or other requirement.

Notes:
BLS is strongly emphasized during this class. Strong BLS Skills are necessary. Therefore, a current BLS card is required. EKG interpretation is required; it is not taught in this course. Reviewing EKG interpretation is recommended. Knowledge of ACLS pharmacology is discussed in depth. Reviewing these drugs before class is strongly recommended.
A 50 question, multiple choice test is administered at the end of class that requires a passing score of 84% to complete the class.
